I like to think of myself as pro-choice but when I think about termination rates BECAUSE of Ds I admit I get judgey and hostile. Am looking forward to your book. I like how you took the post full-circle, from your experiences to those of other families and back to choice and making things better for kids/people who are already here. We talked about this new law in my Cultures, Pregnancy and Birth class the other day and one of the things we talked about was if ND was offering to boost support for parents with childcare and disability services.
